The color was gone from the land that we once knew,the elders were right it was time to go. We gathered our knowledge staffs and our most basics needs because we knew we would not be returning. The rumblings in the air and ground continued and we began our trek to the other place...oh hey hi there didn't see you over there.

Yes its been a few months since I posted something here. not gonna make any promises but I'll just say that when I have time I'll post an update here.

So we are down to one car which has made things hella interesting, I get a ride to work from sista and catch public transit for the ride home it takes about an hour or less. I don't mind it allows me to catch up on my reading. Every once in a while a co worker will offere me a ride which is aiight.

Mom is doing better,she had cold then she got a urinary tract infection. The infection is gone and she seems better to an extent....

Currently in the oven a couple of beef chuck roast sitting on top of some yukon gold potatoes simmering in some beef broth with onions and peppers. Yeah keeping cooking simple on sunday.

Work was exciting as usual this morning,loaded in a few billion commercials while keepin an eye on tings on the AM station,and quick peek of the other stations in the building.

Older brother came buy last Sunday with the mower and cut the grass down to a normal height. Gonna attempt to get to the rest of the yardwork eventually.

Older brother got his pick up truck back on the road and he mentioned that someone might be by to clear the fire debris from his driveway.

There were murmurs from those to young to remember, but the older adults knew this was coming and began to gather the essentials for the trek back to the old lands. Then there were those who did not not want to leave, that was until an elder touched their hands with one of the wall stones and...oh hey hi I didn't see you over there.

Ahh it's Sunday and sista is putting the finishing touches on the lamb stew/soup. Me I'm revisiting the foil pan and fuhhgettabout it, beef back ribs.

Work was ok today,countdown continues.

The rental that I'm currently using is hella small n uncomfortable. The shady personal injury lawyer dropped my case with a quickness. I may go into detail on this joy in another journal entry, who knows.

Currently reading a book, as in a real dead tree, not digital book. It's a collection of stories under the title, heading steampunk. Not bad.

The Elder of each home continued to speak. It is time to return to the old lands. Gather up your items and start walking. With that said each elder took a stone from the circle in basements where they spoke and the ground begun to ...oh hey hi there didnt see you over there.

Ah so no ride in to work description today because its Saturday and I don't have to work on Saturdays. Nope this morning I drove pops to Sears Automotive in Warwick and spent over 4 hours there while they worked on the car. That makes 2 Saturdays in a row. On the plus side I was able to catch up on my reading of Otaku USA. Plus some old guy was talking to me about a bunch of random things,Time shares,Indian arrowheads,solar panels on his roof,yada yada yada. I was a wee bit upset when we got the word that the car was ready because the conversation was much appreciated.

What else I think the season is finally changing, even though its about 80 something out there today. Backyard is still a jungle,was going to attempt to tackle this past week but had to do the driving the parents to various appointments. Still would like to create a sitting area directly to the left of the back door as you exit the house.

Didn't do as much grilling as I wanted to this season, still may have a few more weekends or weekdays to attempt something,but I'm not holding my breath.

Did get some baking in since the last post. Need to get some more supplies though especially since the niece mentioned that she wants to do alot of baking for the holidays.

Thats about it for now, trying to zone out in the bedroom for a bit even though I should be working on grocery list,working on what to cook for dinner tomorrow...

The basements were cramped,but it did not matter they wouldn't be there long. It was the eldest of each family who spoke. They were all connected through the stones on each wall. To a visitor it was just another one of those quirky "artifacts" but to those who knew it was another link to their heritage. We have heard the wind howl through the the chasm,and some of us on the edge have heard the chanting, people it is time to...oh hey hi there didn't see you over there.

Yeah I know another entry so soon. The drive in to work was ok,was able to enjoy 10-15 minutes of the spanish station. Tomorrow its back to the joy of moving sistas car onto the street thenuu back into the driveway after i get pops car on the street.

Gotta remember to work on a call list for the next time i go into the hospital or something like that. Spoke with a co worker today who thought I was at home all that time. Yeah communication is great aint it. When's the last time you actually had a conversation with a friend on the phone, or dare I say face to face. Once again thanks Casey for the hospital visit.

Still not a hundred percent but ws able to get some things done in the kitchen. Not sure when I'll fire up the grill again,between the pieces of the wheelchair ramp and the somewhat newly seeded portions of the yard, grillin would be kind of tough. But I'll try and get some in before winter.

What else, I got another new spot that I'll be updating soon. The focus there will most likely be one thought per post. For example A cake was baked last week. I'll talk about why it was baked, and what I thought about the finished product. And of course there will be a picture or 2.

What else,got a new phone. Same model as before. Old one wasn't holding a charge. Turned out it wasn't the battery it was something in the phone. As tempting as it is to jump on the iPhone bandwagon ill have to pass on that. The whole buyers remorse thing...not ruling out the wi-fi enabled iPad though.

So its been a hella long while since something was posted here. Currently I'm in a room in Rhode Island Hospital dealing with an infection in the foot.

Onward, my brother tells me that he was able to get the yard tilled and spread the rest of the ez seed, cant wait to see how that works out.
